International tours

1982-3 Europe - Study tour with fellow students of the Sydney Conservatorium, visiting countries: England, Scotland (Edinburgh and Inverness), France (Paris, Lyons and Nice), Monte Carlo, Italy (Pisa, Florence, Rome and Venice), Switzerland, Austria (Vienna, Salzburg), Germany (Munich, Cologne), Liechtenstein, and The Netherlands. Played several organs including historic Silbermann instruments in Basel and Arlesheim Cathedral.
1986 New Zealand - Solo recital and music examining tour - Wellington Town Hall; Old St Paul's Cathedral, Wellington
1986-7 Europe - Recital tour with the Chapel Choir of Newington College - St John's College, Cambridge; St Margaret's, Westminster; St Michael's, Cornhill, London; Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, Châtres Cathedral; various churches in Austria and Venice
1987 UK & USA - attended the International Congress of Organists at Cambridge University and spent three weeks visiting English cathedrals. Also visited and heard organs in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Honolulu.
1988 New Zealand - Recital tour with the trebles of the St Andrew's Cathedral Choir - Christchurch Cathedral, Nelson Cathedral, Wellington Cathedral, and Auckland Cathedral
1993 USA - tour of west and east coasts of the USA playing organs including Wanamaker, Philadelphia; National Cathedral, Washington DC; St Ignatius Loyola, St Bart's, St John the Divine, New York City; Grace Cathedral, San Francisco. Attended the Burlington Vermont AGO convention and the International Congress of Organists in Montreal, Canada. Visited several organbuilders including Schönstein in San Francisco, Rosales in Los Angeles and Austin in Hartford

1994 Europe - visited and played several organs in Holland (including St Bavo's, Haarlem; and others in Delft and The Hague); Ratzeburg Cathedral, Germany; St Ouen, Rouen; various organs in Toulouse region of France. UK - several cathedral organs (Winchester; Chichester; Portsmouth; St Paul's, London; Rochester) USA - Dallas National AGO convention
1994 New Zealand - Solo recital and music examining tour - Auckland Town Hall
1995 Germany - Solo recital tour - St Petrikirche, Hamburg; Mühlhausen (lecture and recital); Braunschweig and Bremerhaven; The Netherlands - Lecture on Australian organs for the Arnhem Conservatorium organ students. Also visited Lübeck and Lüneberg
1995 England - Recital tour with the choir of St Andrew's Cathedral - Christchurch Cathedral, Oxford; Lichfield Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral, Winchester Cathedral, St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle; St Paul's Cathedral, London; St John's College, Cambridge
1996 New Zealand - Solo recital Christchurch Cathedral and various demonstration recitals as part of the Organ Historical Trust of Australia conference (Nelson Cathedral, Dunedin Town Hall)
1997 Germany - Solo recital tour - Windberg/Bavaria; Wangen/Allgäu; Switzerland - Zürich. Also visited Leipzig (played the organ in St Nicholas' Church), Dresden and Prague
1997 France - Various demonstration recitals as part of the Organ Club (UK) tour of the Toulouse region. Played about 40 French instruments built over four centuries, including St Sernin, Toulouse; Albi Cathedral; Toulouse Cathedral and Orléans Cathedral

1999 Hong Kong - Solo recital tour - Cultural Centre Concert Hall; visited Macau; Singapore - masterclass, lecture and recital
2001 Singapore - lecture and recital Germany - Solo recital tour - Hamburg, Wangen/Allgäu, Wiesbaden Marktkirche. Also visited Berlin, Frankfurt, Speyer, Regensburg, Passau, Munich, Mainz, and Ottobeuren.
2002 USA / Canada - attended the AGO Convention in Philadelphia, visited friends and organs in the San Francisco Bay Area (played at First Presbyterian Church, Palo Alto), Stanford University and Toronto.
2004 USA - attended the AGO Convention in Los Angeles, visited friends and organs in the San Francisco Bay Area (played at St Andrew's Episocopal Church, Saratoga), and San Diego (Spreckels Organ).
2005 Europe - tour with St Andrew's Cathedral Choir, playing for Evensongs, services and concert in Westminster Abbey, Canterbury Cathedral, All Souls, Langham Place, London and Holy Trinity Pro Cathedral, Brussels, Belgium. Visits to organs in France (Poitiers and Chartres) and Singapore.

2005 Singapore - Faculty member for the Pipe Organ Encounter program, recital, teaching and lecture
2006 USA - attended the AGO Convention in Chicago, visited friends and organs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
2006 New Zealand - attended the Organ Historical Trust of Australia conference based in Auckland, played two recitals and visited Rotorua, Wellington and Wanganui.
2009 North America - performed the opening recital in Phoenix, Arizona for the American Guild of Organists Region IX Convention and served as an adjudicator for their organ playing competition.  Attended the centenary convention of the Royal Canadian College of Organists in Toronto and the Organ Historical Society convention in Cleveland, Ohio.
